Methodology
How the numbers are built
Snapshot 13 Aug 2026. Window 1 Jan 2025 – 13 Aug 2026, Asia/Bangkok.
What counts as a Thai title
Local Thai-language dramas and lakorn — Channel 3 and Channel 7 prime time, plus Thai-produced streaming series (iQIYI, Netflix TH, GMMTV) when the conversation is about the title itself. Korean or Chinese dramas dubbed in Thai are out of scope.
What “active audience” means
Unique accounts that posted, replied, or quoted in the last seven days using title names, official hashtags, or lakorn-network tags (#ละครไทย, #Lakorn_ch7, #บุพเพสันนิวาส, and peers). Impressions are estimated from public view counts on sampled posts, then scaled.
Thailand vs global
Thailand prefers Thai-language posts and domestic handles. Global includes the export fandom — Indonesian, Filipino, English, Japanese — talking about the same titles. A Bangkok viewer quoting an English clip can appear in both rooms.
2026 lakorn mentions
The band under the snapshot counts posts, replies, and quotes from 1 Jan–13 Aug 2026 on lakorn-styled titles only: Channel 3 / Channel 7 prime-time form, remakes of classic IP (Love Destiny, Empress of Flames), and weekday Ch7 lakorn. BL, GL, and streaming originals sit in the “all Thai-title” denominator, not the lakorn total.
Gender split
X does not publish gender. The split is modeled from display names, pronouns in bios, and known fandom composition on sampled accounts. “Undisclosed” is everyone we cannot classify. Treat it as directional, not a census.
Monthly peaks
Month bars are unique voices, not raw tweet firehose. August 2026 is a partial month projected from the first 13 days. Peak callouts (June 2026, August 2026, November 2025) are the three highest months in the window.
Limits
This is not official X Analytics, Nielsen, or channel ratings. Private accounts, deleted posts, and ads are invisible. Example posts are real public posts, lightly trimmed for length. Numbers will move as new episodes drop.
